The Eggnog is a classic holiday drink made even more indulgent with Sheridan’s Coffee Layered Liqueur. Smooth and creamy, it’s a nostalgic festive treat.
This version blends tradition with innovation, giving you one of the most iconic Christmas liqueur cocktails that pairs perfectly with seasonal celebrations.
🎄 Ingredients
250ml Sheridan’s Coffee Layered Liqueur
600ml whole milk
250ml double cream
4 large egg yolks
100g caster sugar
100ml dark rum or brandy (optional)
1 tsp vanilla extract
Freshly grated nutmeg (to garnish)
Cinnamon sticks (to garnish)
🥄 Method
Whisk egg yolks and sugar until pale and thick.
Heat milk gently until steaming, then slowly whisk into egg yolk mixture.
Return to pan and heat until it coats the back of a spoon.
Remove from heat, stir in cream, vanilla, Sheridan’s, and rum/brandy (if using).
Chill for 2 hours.
Serve in glasses, garnish with nutmeg and cinnamon sticks.
