This Cranberry White Chocolate Mousse with Sheridan’s is light, creamy, and festive — the tang of cranberries balances the sweetness of white chocolate, with Sheridan’s Coffee Layered Liqueur adding a luxurious twist. A Thanksgiving dessert that looks elegant but is easy to prepare ahead.
🍂 Ingredients
150g white chocolate
2 large egg whites
200ml double cream
3 tbsp caster sugar
40ml Sheridan’s Coffee Layered Liqueur
75g fresh or frozen cranberries
2 tbsp sugar (for cranberry compote)
1 tbsp water
🥄 Method
Make cranberry compote: In a small pan, heat cranberries with 2 tbsp sugar and 1 tbsp water until berries soften and burst. Cool completely.
Prepare mousse: Melt white chocolate gently over a bain-marie. Allow to cool slightly.
Whip double cream until soft peaks form.
Beat egg whites with caster sugar until stiff peaks form.
Fold Sheridan’s into the cooled white chocolate. Gently fold in whipped cream, then fold in egg whites until smooth.
Spoon mousse into glasses. Top with cranberry compote.
Chill for at least 2 hours before serving.
💡 Tips for the Perfect Cranberry Mousse
Make Ahead: This dessert is best prepared the day before Thanksgiving.
