This Sheridan’s Apple Bread Pudding is warm, comforting, and filled with autumn flavours. Soft cubes of bread soaked in custard, baked with apples, cinnamon, and a splash of Sheridan’s Coffee Layered Liqueur. A rustic Thanksgiving dessert that’s simple to make but feels like home.
🍂 Ingredients
6 slices brioche or challah bread (stale works best)
2 medium apples, peeled and sliced
300ml whole milk
150ml double cream
3 large eggs
75g caster sugar
40ml Sheridan’s Coffee Layered Liqueur
1 tsp cinnamon
½ tsp nutmeg
25g butter (for greasing + dotting)
🥄 Method
Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease a baking dish with butter.
Arrange bread cubes and apple slices in the dish.
In a bowl, whisk milk, cream, eggs, sugar, Sheridan’s, and spices until smooth.
Pour custard mixture evenly over bread and apples.
Let soak for 10 minutes, pressing bread down lightly.
Dot with butter and bake 35–40 minutes until golden and set.
Serve warm with extra cream or ice cream.
💡 Tips for the Perfect Bread Pudding
Bread Choice: Brioche gives richness, but stale white bread works fine.
Apple Twist: Use tart apples (like Granny Smith) for balance.
Extra Sheridan’s: Drizzle a little more over before serving.
