Looking for a festive dessert that’s as easy to make as it is impressive? This Apple Crumble Parfait layers warm spiced apples, crunchy crumble, and a velvety splash of Sheridan’s Coffee Layered Liqueur. It’s the perfect balance of comfort and indulgence — a Thanksgiving treat that looks stunning in the glass but takes just minutes to prepare.
🍂 Ingredients
For the apple layer:
4 medium apples (peeled, cored, diced)
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
½ tsp nutmeg
30ml Sheridan’s Coffee Layered Liqueur
For the crumble:
100g plain flour
50g rolled oats
75g light brown sugar
75g unsalted butter (cold, cubed)
For assembly:
250ml double cream (whipped)
Extra drizzle of Sheridan’s Coffee Layered Liqueur
🥄 Method
Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
Mix flour, oats, and sugar. Rub in butter until crumbly. Spread on a tray and bake for 12–15 mins until golden.
Meanwhile, cook diced apples with sugar and spices in a pan for 8–10 mins until softened. Stir in Sheridan’s. Cool slightly.
Whip the cream until soft peaks form.
Assemble parfaits in glasses: apple layer → crumble → cream → repeat.
Drizzle Sheridan’s over the top before serving.
💡 Tips for the Perfect Apple Crumble Parfait
Make-ahead: You can prep the apple mixture and crumble topping a day ahead. Assemble just before serving for best texture.
Swap-ins: Try using pears instead of apples for a twist on the classic.
Alcohol-free option: Skip the Sheridan’s and drizzle with caramel instead.
