Rich, fudgy brownies meet buttery pecan pie filling — with a generous splash of Sheridan’s Coffee Layered Liqueur for a boozy twist. These Sheridan’s Pecan Pie Brownies are a decadent Thanksgiving dessert that combines two classics in one irresistible bite.


🍂 Ingredients

Brownies:

  • 200g dark chocolate (70% cocoa)

  • 175g unsalted butter

  • 250g caster sugar

  • 3 large eggs

  • 75g plain flour

  • 30ml Sheridan’s Coffee Layered Liqueur

Pecan Pie Topping:

  • 200g pecans, roughly chopped

  • 150g light brown sugar

  • 75g unsalted butter, melted

  • 2 large eggs

  • 60ml golden syrup

  • 30ml Sheridan’s Coffee Layered Liqueur

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • Pinch of salt


🥄 Method

  1. Prepare brownies: Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Line a 9x13in baking tin with parchment.

  2. Melt butter and chocolate together in a bowl over simmering water. Stir until smooth.

  3. Beat in sugar, then add eggs one at a time until glossy. Stir in Sheridan’s and fold in flour.

  4. Pour into the tin and bake for 20 minutes until just set on top.

  5. Make topping: Whisk together eggs, brown sugar, golden syrup, butter, Sheridan’s, vanilla, and salt. Stir in pecans.

  6. Pour topping over the part-baked brownie base. Return to oven for 15–20 minutes until golden and set.

  7. Cool completely before slicing into squares.
